I’m not against this idea. Let it be an option but I just think its more hot air than a realistic and viable option for many people. I’m Canadian. I’m not against this. Let’s not pretend that coming to Canada is accessible for the Stephan’s Quintet Image Captured By Nasa’s James T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this most vulnerable people.Finding ways to change the laws in those states or supports within America would be a better option in my mind. Did you read the article? The Families Minister was asked if American women would be allowed to access abortions in Canada. What else is she supposed to do? It’s mostly a gesture demonstrating which side of this issue she’s on. She’s not on the US supreme court though, so nothing else she can do. I see a lot of people here commenting about Americans coming to Canada for abortions but wouldn’t it be much easier to just get a hold of those “day after” pills? I don’t know the drugs actual name but it seems like a no brainer. Red theocratic states are already making moves to make those pills illegal. The “pro-life” fanatics are also making moves to ban contraceptives. The problem with Plan B is it needs to be taken fairly quickly (like 48 hours) after unprotected sex. If contraceptives fail most women won’t have any idea they are pregnant until at least 4 weeks pregnant and that’s only if they have periods like clockwork. The other issue is doctors under threat of execution or life in prison will be real fucking hesitant to give a medical abortion to save a mother’s life. Why would they risk it. Look at Ireland for an example of how this will murder women:

Plan B works only 72% of the Stephan’s Quintet Image Captured By Nasa’s James T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this time. I imagine most people who take them aren’t pregnant. My favorite was when my partner (at the time) used a condom, it broke, I took Plan B, and then I had an abortion. It was a super fun and expensive 6 weeks. While Plan B is a great option, it only works if implantation has not already occurred. So, if a woman is already pregnant, it won’t do anything. They work 72% of the time. I took them in three instances. On the third, I had to get an abortion. And if you think those aren’t about to be outlawed, you’ve got another thing coming. They are a whole lot easier to get though and a ban on those would hardly be effective unless states start rummaging through packages, something that will get them federally fucked.
