If I’m on a long trip I’ll hover around 75-78 mph and chill in the middle lane but at that speed I’m shifting left to pass a lot of cars. Sometimes the initial pass turns into cruising in the left lane for a bit while passing a long line of cars in the middle lane. If someone comes up behind me wanting to do 85 they’re gonna have to wait for me to pass these other cars until there is a safe space to shift lanes. I feel like people get angry at this and I don’t understand why. My boyfriend does this.. just drives in the left lane because he feels like it. Just doesn’t care about people wanting to pass. I usually request that I’m the driver wherever we go because between this and his tailgating I can’t stomach riding in his car.
